We are excited to offer multiple R.E.E.S.E. scholarships to support minority seniors in achieving their educational goals. ( Rockdale County (1), Rockdale County High School (1) and Saint Philip A.M.E. (1)

Scholarship Details:

• Three $1,000+ R.E.E.S.E. Scholarships will be awarded to graduating high school minority seniors who have been accepted to an accredited college, technical school, or certified career program.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Acceptance: Must be accepted and entering into a program by Fall 2025.

• GPA: Minimum 2.0 GPA; high school transcript needed to verify.

• Essay: At least a 1-page essay submission including your name, goals (short-term and/or long-term), and why you feel you deserve the scholarship. The essay should also highlight how you embody the R.E.E.S.E. qualities of Resilience, Excellence, Enthusiasm, Sincerity, and Effervescence.

• Letter of Reference: One letter of reference from an educator, mentor, or church leader.

• Preference: Preference is given to students from single-parent homes, though it is not required.

Special Recognition:

• The Legacy scholarship is in memory and honor of a previous Rockdale County High School Graduate and a 20-year active Saint Philip A.M.E. Church member. We seek students who display similar goals or attributes that reflect these qualities.
