About

The mission of the Arts and Education R.E.E.S.E. Scholarship is to empower, support, celebrate, and assist minorities on the next phase of their journey beyond high school to technical school programs, colleges, or universities. By providing financial assistance, mentorship, and recognition, the scholarship aims to remove barriers and create opportunities for students to achieve their academic and career goals. We are committed to fostering a community that values diversity, resilience, and excellence, helping each recipient to thrive in their chosen fields. Through this scholarship, we honor the legacy of Rockdale County High School graduates by investing in the future leaders of our community.
Our Vision
The vision for this scholarship is to congratulate and award at least three scholarship recipients annually. Each year the previous Arts & Education R.E.E.S.E. scholarship recipients attend the award brunch to offer insights and advice for the current year scholarship recipients.
“Reese and I planned to pour into outstanding males specifically, as our Williams Legacy,” said LaCosha Williams. “This was and is important to us because this world has many distractions that detoured many away from their true crown and success bound mantle. There is enough negativity in this world, so our goal is to provide love and light through annual scholarships to seed into greatness.”
